Gemfields x MUSE Debuts New Collaboration: All About the Ear at the 2018 Couture Jewellery Show in Las Vegas
For this year’s annual COUTURE jewellery show, Gemfields has once again teamed up with MUSE, the fine jewellery industry’s premier showroom for emerging and established talent, to present a new collection of inspired jewellery with a focus on earrings: this year it is all about the ear.
Taking advantage of the current trend toward mixing, matching and multiples, the collaboration features Gemfields Zambian emeralds and Mozambican rubies in an array of hoops, studs, and chandeliers, offered at a wide range of price points. The collection provides a unique opportunity to bring coloured gemstone fine jewellery to consumers as part of an everyday jewellery wardrobe.
Comprised of more than 65 pairs of earrings, the collection features creations from 23 of today’s most dynamic designers: Ana Khouri, Andrea Fohrman, Begüm Khan, Buddha Mama, Elena Votsi, Federica Rettore, Holly Dyment, Hoorsenbuhs, Julls, Luis Morais, Maria Canale, Michelle Fantaci, Nak Armstrong, Nancy Newberg, Nikos Koulis, Nilufer, Polly Wales, Shamballa, Silvia Furmanovich, Sophie Bille Brahe, Stephanie Windsor, Sylva & Cie and Tara Hirshberg.
The GEMFIELDSxMUSE partnership first began back in 2014 and has continued every year since. The Charm Programme introduced at last year’s show has proven so successful that it is being made evergreen, with new ruby and emerald designs arriving for 2018.
“We are delighted to support this exceptional group of emerging design talent through the GEMFIELDSxMUSE collaboration,” said Gemfields CEO, Sean Gilbertson. “The variety of styles and designers wonderfully demonstrates the versatility of these colored gemstones, making it fun and exciting to build a responsibly sourced gemstone collection for everyday wear.”
Jennifer Shanker, founder of MUSE Showroom, added, “I’m particularly excited about this year’s collaboration, as earrings are having such a moment right now. With the added beauty and appeal of Gemfields responsibly sourced rubies and emeralds, it’s a truly winning combination.”
