MRM funds educational support for 9,000 students in 2025
MRM’s community educational initiatives directly benefitted just over 9,000 primary, secondary and university students in 2025.
Since it started operations, MRM has provided significant funding to expand access to quality education infrastructure across Montepuez, specifically in the villages situated in Namanhumbir Administrative Post, where MRM is based.
Since operations began, MRM has built three primary schools and one secondary school, rehabilitated two schools, and expanded a further four schools. Gemfields Foundation, the charitable arm of MRM’s parent company, also funded a fully fitted computer laboratory with 30 computers. In addition to these facilities, MRM also partners with universities and funds a vocational training centre.
