Launched in February 2020, the Jewellery Eminence Awards celebrates leading edge creativity, innovation and excellence in jewellery design. It is the first ever jewellery awards to be completely virtual, from submission and judging, through to announcement of the winners.

The inaugural edition of the awards, that has “Colours of Royalty – Emerald and Ruby” as its theme this year, saw over 300 initial entries from both students and established jewellers competing over 29 categories.

The focus of the JEA lies in each designer’s journey from inspiration to creation, with the judges identifying the most exceptional piece in each category.

The final round panel comprises industry experts Tarang Arora, Tanya Rastogi, Renu Choudhary, Prerna Khurana and Preeta Agarwal, who have judged entries via virtual inspection.

The competition concludes on Friday 4 December when the winners will be announced during a live virtual event.

This can be viewed on the JAS Facebook page or Youtube channel from 7.30 pm India Standard Time (2:00pm UTC).
